Richard C. Dillon was born in St. Louis, Missouri, June 24, 1877, the son of Richard and Hattie Dillon. He was educated in public schools in St. Louis, and at the age of twelve, he moved with his parents to Springer, New Mexico. In 1908, he became manager for G.W.
